REGISTRY TYPES

Four pathways into ITBR registry

Every pathway has the same non-negotiable requirements; DNA health testing for all breeding animals. Which pathway you needs depends on your animals documented heritage and breeding objective

Full Registry Pedigree

For animals with 4+ generations of verified heritage through ITBR or a recognised breeding organisation. 

Extension Registry Pedigree

For clearly purebred animals building traceable heritage towards full registry status over 5 generations. 

Heritage Certificate

A health verified heritage document for first-generation crosses of two registered purebred animals.  

Developing Breed Pedigree

A structured multi generational program for intentional new breed development, requiring committee approval.

Join as a member

Complete your membership application, pass the entry assessment and pay your membership fees.

Health test your animals

Order the breed-specific DNA panel through Orivet or another approved provider and upload provide ITBR your results.

Register your animals

Submit your application with pedigree documents, vet certificates and photos as required. 

Register your litters

Confirm genetic compatibility, submit your litter registration form, and receive ITBR certificates for each offspring.

HEALTH TESTING

DNA testing is not optional at ITBR

Every breeding animal on every registry type - Full, Extension, Heritage Certificate and Developing Breed - must complete all applicable compulsory DNA health tests before any mating. This is the core purpose of the registry.

  • Heritage litters tested agianst conditions for both parent breeds

Updated on the first business day of each month. All breeders are current ITBR members. If you can't find you breeder please contact ITBR directly to confirm they have a valid membership. 

Transparency is part of the standard

ITBR maintains a formal complaints and dicipilinary process. If you have a genuine concern about a members conduct or an animals welfare, the process is open to all members and the public alike.
